Upscale
Preview the source image, choose an upscale factor, then generate the sharper result on this page.
Original image
Upload JPG, PNG, or WEBP to preview it here.
Upscale factor
Login is required to generate. Processing runs on ImagineClip AI and costs 2 credits. The result appears here when the task completes.
Upscale preview
The result only appears after you click the button and the AI task finishes.
No image selected
The result only appears after you click the button and the AI task finishes.
Before and after
The example uses local ImagineClip assets adapted from the reference project. It shows the intended result: cleaner edges, richer texture, and a more usable creative asset.

AI Image Upscaler
Prepare low-resolution images, AI generations, product photos, posters, and references for sharper output. Upload the source, choose 2x, 3x, or 4x, then run AI image enhancement directly on this page.
Use cases
Upscaling helps when an image looks good conceptually but needs cleaner detail before it can be used in a layout, product page, or video workflow.
Improve usable detail in AI-generated images before using them in campaigns, covers, and image-to-video prompts.
Prepare sharper product visuals, posters, thumbnails, and social graphics from smaller source images.
Keep clearer references available for future AI image edits, storyboards, and creative production workflows.
Workflow
This page handles the full flow: upload, choose scale, process, preview the result, and download.
Upload a JPG, PNG, or WEBP image that needs sharper detail.
Preview the source image and confirm it is the asset you want to improve.
Choose 2x, 3x, or 4x, then click Upscale Image to start the AI task on this page.
Generate the enhanced image and reuse it in product visuals, posters, thumbnails, or AI video references.
Specs
These specs describe the current in-page image upscaler.
Limits
Upscaling can improve visual detail, but it should be described honestly rather than as a guaranteed lossless restore.
This page uploads the selected image and runs an AI upscaling task after you click the button.
Upscaling is not a mathematical recovery of original detail that was never captured.
Very blurry faces, tiny text, and compressed artifacts may need a second edit prompt.
For best results, start with the clearest available source image.
FAQ
Practical answers about image upscaling, detail enhancement, uploads, source quality, and credits.
No. The browser shows a local preview first, but the actual upscaling runs through ImagineClip AI after you click Upscale Image. You need to be logged in before the image is uploaded for processing.
Each generated upscale result costs 2 credits. If the AI provider reports the task as failed, the task is marked as failed and the spent credits are refunded automatically.
The tool accepts JPG, PNG, and WEBP images up to 10MB. For the upscaler model, very large images are automatically resized before upload to stay within the model input limit, then the selected 2x, 3x, or 4x upscale is applied.
No. AI upscaling creates a new enhanced image. It can make edges, textures, and faces look clearer, but it is not a mathematical recovery of detail that was never present in the source.
Images with a clear subject, reasonable lighting, and moderate compression work best. AI-generated images, product photos, poster drafts, portraits, and thumbnails are good candidates. Extremely blurry faces, tiny text, and heavy compression artifacts may still remain imperfect.
Face enhancement sends an extra flag to the upscaling API to improve facial detail. It can help portraits, but it may slightly change facial texture, so product images or non-face graphics can leave it off.
